This might actually be the answer to “Why do they continue to be together?” Leo needs a Lab Rat… but is kind to animals. Gary can’t be killed by conventional methods… and makes the perfect Test Subject. Marriage made in… oh… right… can’t use That cliché! ;)

Since Leo appears to be distilling the beer – wouldn’t that make it a whiskey?

Not to mention the possible explosive qualities??
