Big birds, little dog.

Dogs may not last as long a a sister. But they make much better friends.

Much less expensive in the long run and much faster delivery.

Does this also happen if a wife asks her husband for another child?

I guess it helps to ask for more than you really want, but you still don’t want to overdo it.

What are they, “Pluggers”? (Yes, I know both strips have a common creator…) :-P

I have dogs, now I want grandchildren. Now I have grand kittens and grand dogs.

You don’t have to buy a dog a car, pay its college tuition, splurge on a wedding for it, or lend it money.

Let’s see … Daughter ?… Dog ? An easy decision.

Reverse psychology.

We thought about having another child…….so we got a dog instead. And she is most definitely a daddy’s girl. Listens better than anyone else in the house too.

When I was four, I asked for a sister but got a brother. Got the sister the following year.
