I thought I had the window ‘glass’ glued in to the roof of my ‘69 Plymouth GTX but the first operation at the workbench tonight showed that only the backlight was attached. It was a setback but I’m much closer to getting the kit together than I have been since 1989. I won’t go into why this situation is thus but I boxed it up back then and set it on the shelf. Recently I decided to drag it out and finish it and I’m generally happy with the progress and it relaxes me.
There is a story about a group of Buddhist monks who were making a mandala on the floor at a museum, when a child broke away from his mother and ran through the art, ruining about half of it. Everyone was very upset, except the senior monk who said “Do not punish the child, random acts happen and we have to deal with them. This is perfect! It says exactly what is needed.”

I’d label it “The Hand of God” and add $1000 to the price

Third Bob Ross reference I’ve seen today. The other two were “Get Fuzzy” and “Breaking Cat News.”

A few more dribbles, a couple of splats, and you’ll be good to go. . .contact your local museum!
