It’s probably that long because you bought three items…..

I had to Google it: “Why are they so long? Blame CVS’ ExtraCare loyalty program. When an ExtraCare card member checks out in a store, personalized rewards, coupons, new product suggestions and other benefits show up at the bottom of the receipt.”

From my time Wintering in Florida, I enjoyed shopping at the local CVS. Maybe, however, I enjoyed wearing shorts, T-shirt and sandals every day. Yeah, that’s the ticket!

My ACE Hardware store receipts are like that too.

Tsk, such exaggeration! That has to be at least two or three.

As the cashier handed me my receipt the other day I said, oh that’s right, I forgot the toilet paper. She laughed.

Had to google CVS. No idea what it was.

Let me be one of the first to say goodbye to CVS, Walgreens and Rite-aid. They’re going the way of phonebooths, newspapers, radios and record players.

And yet the original line still stands… it’s TP!

It isn’t just CVS. Our grocery store does the same thing. Bought 1 item, paid cash and got a receipt hat was about a foot (0.305 meters) long.

The total came to what? 20 grand?

It’s almost like free advertising with all the jokes being made about their receipts.

Post Office receipts are three times as long as CVS receipts.

This isn’t really exaggerated by much!

If the receipts were just a little wider they could be used as toilet paper!

So far this year I have saved nearly $300 using coupons and electronic deals at CVS, only buying stuff I would have bought anyway. And their customer service is usually first-rate, at least in my local store. Sure, corporate is most probably jacking up the prices to compensate for coupon use, but why not play their game and save money?

You could paper an entire forest with a CVS receipt!

I think it is just drugstore receipts in general, but yes CVS is probably the most egregious.

I’ve actually saved a lot of money using those coupons on items that I had to buy anyway
