He’s gotten an old mindset. Back in the day, barbers would cut your hair, pull your teeth, or even do minor surgery.
This seems thematically related to today’s Pluggers. Odd how that happens.

The customer REALLY HATES have cut hair down the back of his shirt and on his clothes.

I just got back from the hospital – I think they make you wear those gowns to humiliate you and keep you docile and cooperative… :-/

And to be frank, I don’t appreciate the fact that you’ve scared off my other customers.
Either the customer changed really fast, or the barber was awfully slow to warn him.
