I’ve generally avoided “business” software — I use a simple text editor in my programming, and my Firefox browser for doing this kind of reading/commenting. And email of course. But when I DO need a WYSIWYG doc or spreadsheet or the VERY occasional database I generally find it to be written almost well enough to be easy to use. Though I do fairly often have to resort to a web search for “how can I get LibreOffice to…” And I don’t go looking for easter eggs because what I really want is to get done with it and go back to things I enjoy and am at least sort of good at.

Ooooohhh Val, yes… that´s bad…. very bad… Alix has ruined the office…

If the presence of little games distracts people from work the issue lies with the workers.

Considering you are not even watching her, there could be a problem.

My 2.5 y/o grandson uses my wife’s phone to look at photos. Yesterday I got a facetime call and it was him; unsupervised. I’m sure it was random scrolling and screen tapping. I think?

I had Neko and Roaches on my first Unix computers.

Perhaps it is time to pay Alix to point out the games so they can be purged from the software.

When I worked for county, juvenile division, there was plenty of down days when no teen’s was coming and number’s declined, there was games played even the manager play a game on computer. For me I answered the phone and that was quiet. I did not play games.

That’s what computers are for. And the main reason, why they got more sophisticated in such a short time.
