I have a wonderful old photograph from the 1940s. A park with a path lined with benches. Every bench had people sitting on it, and every person had their head buried in a newspaper. People today had to learn it from somebody.
In Antman and The Wasp, it’s crucial our hero be able to sneak down a street. No problem. Every person is staring at their phone and no one notices him.
Many years ago when I was working in the Financial Dist. in San Francisco, I observed folks walking into other people, into electrical poles, into the news/magazines boxes, into potholes in the street AND into oncoming traffic. I pulled one lady back from getting hit and she shrugged it off and never thanked me. After that, I stopped trying to save idiots from themselves.

So much for my hope that someone would be able to get a photo to document one once and for all.

I’m set on my 2020 bingo card. Alien invasion or super-volcano eruption would give me the win.

If the extraterrestrials in the flying saucer have any sense, they’ll turn around and go back home.

Good thing they’re all occupied, otherwise the UFO might think they’re hostile if they noticed and all turned their phone towards it.
