This is bizarre… I was lying awake at 4 this morning thinking about differential reproductive success. (No, not that! Get your mind out of the gutter) The only two important goals for any species are survival and reproduction. I can’t help but wonder if they aren’t essentially the same thing. At least it’s safe to say that you can’t have one without the other. Or as the saying goes, “If your parents didn’t have sex, chances are you won’t either.”
