I don’t know about LA, but if they run short, I’m sure San Francisco could supply a lot of material. Of course THAT would have to be washed and disinfected first.
In cities across the country developers get a lot of corporate welfare to build malls that aren’t needed, and then people wonder why they were abandoned.
What makes this even more interesting, is that France is one of the leaders, when it comes to demanding ever more restrictive environmental policies, and promoting the “Green Agenda”, yet THIS, in the nation’s capitol, IS what is making the headlines. And, the MEDIA that are there covering the Olympics are too stupid to comment on the FAILURE.

I would think that a sampling of “the stuff” that is floating in the River Seine, would be equally memorable.

I take it those are participatory medals—-or are they adulterating the gold / silver / bronze medals with a little Eiffel Tower steel?

An athlete from one of the underdeveloped nations won a gold medal. Was so proud of it, he took it and had it bronzed.

Just watch out for the “chunks” on the sidewalks – from both ends of the alimentary canal.

Chunks of anything concrete from LA. Freeways, aquaduct, sidewalks.
