Doris is really just practicing for a silent movie role as she wants to upgrade from acting in comics to acting in films. Best Clara Bow pose I’ve seen in awhile.

Drilling down 500 miles at 7 miles per hour would take just over 71 hours. To go 406 miles at that speed, it would take 58 hours. And they brought only 12 hours of air. Brilliant.

14 hours of burrowing and only 12 hours of oxygen? Meh. Sounds like a government contract to me, for sure.

Houston we have a problem.

Under the continents the crust averages about 25 miles thick. Under the oceans it is about 7 miles. (Numbers are from memory of my college geology class about 50 years ago and may not be entirely accurate.)

Doris looks as though she could use a big Elvis Presley dose of a throbbing hunk of burnin’ love….she kinda looks like Joan Collins…wait for it!

With all the extra lung capacity she seems to have, she shouldn’t be having as much trouble as the men.
