National Teach Children to Save Day. My parents taught us that. We never had “spending money”. We didn’t get allowances. Any money we got went straight into our piggy banks. I still have my piggy bank. It holds only old coins. like my old silver dollar.
I saw a possum on my drive home from work last night. Very nearly ran over it. I was in the westbound lane and it was crossing the road in the eastbound line, heading straight for me. It was halfway across that lane when I crossed its path.
The night before last, I saw a coyote on my drive home. It was off the road to my right and ran away from me rather than towards me. I know there are coyotes around, but it’s not often that I see one.
I’ve often wondered what I would look like as a blonde. I found out yesterday when too much lightner was applied and the wrong toner was used. I have an appointment this morning to fix it. Blonde on me is SO not a good look.
With friends like Chesney, who needs enemies? (Sorry if that sounds a bit cliched.) You gotta admit, Chesney is quite good at being alliterative. (Wagging wattles is an interesting phrase.) On another note, saw a towhee, five robins, a bumblebee, a wren, and two rabbits while out walking today.
