Lunch Out With Friends Day for me! There are only 3 left in our group. We used to have around a dozen of us, but a couple of them have died and others moved away. But we still have a good time.

I didn’t see it but I heard an owl hoot while I was at work today. I was in the “garage” area of lawn & garden getting a couple tables to put a new shipment of Norfolk Island Pine trees on when I heard a “whoowhoowhoo”.

I won’t rest until Oliver, safe and healthy, is back with Annie in the warehouse.

An extra life for lil Ollie!! Excellent start to a Monday, making up for not sleeping past 2:30.

NO OLIVER YOU CAN’T STAY. ANNIE NEEDS YOU. STAY. WE NEED YOU

Oliver, please come back. St. Peter, you must have millions of cats up there to choose to cuddle and play with, you don’t need to keep Oliver yet.

I’m back after 8 days in the hospital with pneumonia.

Typical⸻ I’m tired, achy, sore, black and blue ALL over and seriously suffering from lack of sleep.

They say that you need proper rest and nutrition to heal properly, I need to sleep!

For those who gave me head boops, paw power, purrzz, good wishes, prayers, or other symbols of support⸻ I thank you.

It’ll take me at least a week to “catch up” on my favorite comics, and I might not be able to keep up with the comment section for a while.

Thank goodness! The World would be a sadder place without Oliver. Hope he hurries back to Annie. On another note, saw two wrens, five chickadees, and a varied thrush while out walking today.

My Brittany, Lady Bird, who is crippled with brain and spine damage…had a seizure tonight. (first one I’ve ever seen her have.) All good thoughts and prayers are requested. I will be calling the vet at 8 a.m. and seeing what her thoughts are. As she was able to come out of it, I did not feel the need to bundle her up and go to the emergency vet. Moving for her is hard, and in the dark, I fear, would be very disorienting. I expect a night with little sleep. She has a bed next to mine and I can keep a watch on her. She had her weekly cold laser therapy this afternoon at 2. She usually is so relaxed for several days afterwards.
