My Gracie thinks she should get treats when I wash dishes as well.

Sounds like my 2. I can walk into the kitchen alone – but open anything except the fridge, and they both materialize.

Cats always know when it’s time for treats.

Monroe is opening the cabinets on hos own. Good thing we keep the treats in a drawer. He’ll likely open it next.

“As long as you’re there, you might as well grab treats for ME.”

“To save time, just leave them on the counter.”

“Just leave them open on the counter.”

“Just dump a whole bag in my bowl.”

Ember is acutely aware that her treats are stashed in the cabinet above the microwave, which means she goes on high alert every day when I prepare my lunch.

Mittens is simply trying to have Angie be more efficient. Such a helpful kitty!

#multitasking

We’ve had many, many cats through the decades and can’t remember any of them liking store-bought treats. They like healthy people-food and they’re my besties when chicken’s roasting.

Uh-oh. Mittens got hold of a book by Frederick Taylor. Or maybe Alan Lakein.

Cats are just trying to be helpful, saving us from an extra trip.

Boy THIS familiar!! I could swear Oliver (my tuxie cat …he looks like Mitty) knows how to tell time , He & the other cats gets treats around 5 PM . About 4 PM he runs to me with the "s it treats time yet? " look. So I tell him “No Ollie not yet .” If I DARE go in the kitchen before then he looks at me like “WELL??”

“But that’s where my treats live.” Not for long if you get your mitts on them, Mitty. :D

I walk past the cat dishes, full or not, they want treats!
