That conversation was almost word for word at our house the other day.SIX boxes for two cats. Enough was enough. I let them keep one and the following day Amazon brought them another one. It’s small so they can keep it for a while.
Sis’s boss Lou doesn’t care about boxes, which is probably a good thing considering that sis does about 90% of her shoppping on the Big River. Bags are a whole ‘nother story – drop one on the floor & he’s checking it out instantly! For that, there’s Aldi’s delivery & Door Dash.
Here’s the trick: boxes sized to nest inside each other when put away. Caution, check for cats before storing. :)
Reminds me of when I moved in with my second wife. Years previously she had been married to a very successful lawyer, had given dinner parties, and collected a lot of garden furniture which now crowded the deck above our two-car garage.
We rarely had more than two visitors at a time and led a quiet life with my cat. One day, after tripping over one of ten chairs scattered around the deck, I asked her, “Just how many chairs does the cat need to nap in?”
