I weigh every day since 12/31 to see what is working and motivate myself into making better choices. started 254 and yesterday was 248. My goal is a pound a week. After 3 knee replacements and 2 spine surgeries in 5 years, they have me pretty well fixed up and I’m allowed to try and work as best I can. Moving and not eating because I’m bored is the biggest help. Looking forward to seeing my feet without bending over :) Chip, how about giving Brutus a little eraser help?
Hate to say it Gladiola but you don’t look any less girthy than your hubby. How about team dieting? Studies show it to be effective for weight loss. As is exercising together!

I do do that, but completely naked, and keep an Excel record and graph. I have since June 2013… It is an incentive…

Actually he doesn’t look that over-weight

You’re certain to “lose” a pound or two if you remove the slippers, pajamas, and take a dump before weighing yourself in the morning, Brutus.

Better to weigh yourself once a week, to see your progress. Weighing every day can work against you, as you won’t loose weight every day.

I still have an old mechanical scale. Those things are a lot taller than the modern electronic ones… It has to count as exercise! :D

Weigh yourself in Bathroom. Easy Peasy. Food follows me. It’s not fair. My stomach is a traitor. Holds me hostage. Feed me…

Gladys sure fills out that bathrobe. She shouldn’t be pointing her fat fingers at anyone.

Maybe it would help with weight loss if Brutus put the scale a couple miles down the road.
