I weigh every day since 12/31 to see what is working and motivate myself into making better choices. started 254 and yesterday was 248. My goal is a pound a week. After 3 knee replacements and 2 spine surgeries in 5 years, they have me pretty well fixed up and I’m allowed to try and work as best I can. Moving and not eating because I’m bored is the biggest help. Looking forward to seeing my feet without bending over :) Chip, how about giving Brutus a little eraser help?

I do do that, but completely naked, and keep an Excel record and graph. I have since June 2013… It is an incentive…

You’re certain to “lose” a pound or two if you remove the slippers, pajamas, and take a dump before weighing yourself in the morning, Brutus.

Better to weigh yourself once a week, to see your progress. Weighing every day can work against you, as you won’t loose weight every day.

I still have an old mechanical scale. Those things are a lot taller than the modern electronic ones… It has to count as exercise! :D
