Let’s see. The men said nine. And the dwarf lords wanted seven. And counting me, there are three elves. And dang me. I just know I’m forgetting someone. Oh, yeah. One for Sauron. But I’m not delivering it this time.
For those unfamiliar with Lord of the Rings by Tolkien, I highly recommend the movie The Fellowship of the Ring. While it’s the first of a trilogy, it’s great by itself and will make you familiar with the world of the Hobbits. Also, you’ll find out if you want to pursue it any further or if that’s enough. I recommend it over trying to read the books which are long and complicated. People either love them or hate them. Some people can’t get beyond the first chapter. I’ve read the entire cycle three times but, as I said, you’ll love it or be bored out of your mind. The movie is therefore a much more fun introduction and it will catch you up on a lot of obscure cultural references we all make as jokes.

I guess you have to be into this genre to understand the comic. I’m not and I don’t.

If you eat there one day, you’ll be Sauron the next day. (Know what I’m Tolkien about?)
