Reminds me of a place around the corner that sells beds, or maybe salvation. Hard to tell from the window signs, and I’ve never been inside, since he doesn’t make either one sound very enticing. But he’s been in business longer than I’ve lived here, which is 33 years, so he must appeal to someone.
I wonder if having strong religious beliefs is a requirement for being in the shoe repair business. This cartoon reminds me of a shoe repair shop here in town. Run by a very nice guy, who does excellent work, but religious sayings all around the place.
My favorite cartoonist and always gives me a laugh. But if I’m allowed on serious comment a day: I wish everyone would take the cobbler’s advice and I think it would be a much better America!
I’ve heard that the government makes vaccines to prevent people to become religious (also that if you dream about having sex with a demon you get diseases). Maybe that affects shoes also
