    Hey, that’s fun….

Fairy catmothers grant you three fishes.

Cats with a feather play together.

We’ll catch that fish when we come to it.

You’d better let the cat out of that bag,

Go on a wild mouse chase.

A pilchard is worth 1000 kibbles.

Time flies when you’re having tuna.

    Some additional Cat Quips:

    1. One house-cat to another, showing off a shredded couch: “Do you like it? I made it from scratch.”

    2. A newly adopted cat on the phone to former friends, regarding a gift-wrapped small rodent: “The herd down at the shelter chipped to celebrate your new home with a mouse-warming gift.”

    3. Elder cat to younger, fat cat, handing him a Kit Bit: “It counts the laps you do when you run around the house inexplicably.”

    4. Counselor cat to frazzled cat on a couch: “You should admit you need intervention for your Catnip addiction.”

Good one, Scott. One of them reminds me of a story my husband told me. He said that, one time, he got face-to-face with a cat, and stuck his tongue out at it. He then ended up with numerous scratches on his face, and he learned not to ever do that again.

I’ve read that the whole expression is “Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought him back.”
