Look around you, kid. It’s still out there, (mostly) in other parts of the world.

Running away (denial) is what we do.

It came with.

They ended getting a whole new set of discriminations and persecution instead.

Let’s say that the Puritans followed tradition.

It followed them here!

We have met the enemy and he is us

They brought it all with them and applied it to a new group of people.

It wasn’t checked through baggage, it was a carry on.

They almost got it all together. Then, the 21st Century dawned.

They persecuted other people (slaves, natives, minority religions, etc). Colonial Boston even made heresy a crime.

Millions died in Russia, millions died in western and central Europe, millions died in China…ect.

Times changed……

There is still plenty of cruelty and injustice in the world

Now, there is no where left to go away to

Give it enough time and we can run off to colonies on other planets

Then we can be typical humans there too

They brought it with them.

We’ve developed our own American forms of persecution.

It worked for wealthy white people

Where have you been the last four years?

Actually, they brought it with them. Because, human beings.
