The grandkids want my quadrophonic system and they love the turntable. They never paid that much attention to it until I wired their gaming system into it one day. Hearing movement all around them in their games blew their mind and when playing Jurassic Park 1 they all jerked their heads to the side thinking the velociraptor had found them, “Clever Girl”. No headphones needed. Who knows, maybe quad decoders will make a comeback someday.
Back when they were making entertainment centers a 32" TV was consider huge so today when a 60" is consider small there is no room for the TV. Also most TV now only have HDMI inputs so you can’t use older dvd/vhs players.
Sadly most of our old press-board furniture was made with toxic glues, you can’t burn them for fuel and many places won’t let you just toss them for fears of groundwater leaching!

I once had the chance to haul WCCO’s Charlie Boone’s cabinet radio record player home if I wanted it. Should have. Didn’t.

Get back to me when I can sell my comic books from the 90s and 00s at a decent price.

I understand for a price they’ll cart it away.

Put a bluetooth receiver in „AUX“ and use it as a smartspeaker.
