With my younger son it was legos I stepped on all the time. The older one left hot wheels cars all over the place!

We have no Legos, but we do have four mutts. The only place I go barefoot is in the shower.

Yeah, I tried making shoes out of legos too. Problem is, they break apart when you walk, so you’re guaranteed to step on them.

I also put all my d4s in a locked metal container. Especially the metal one. That thing could cripple an elephant! If I need to roll a d4, I just roll a d8 and subtract 4 from any roll of 5 or more.

I would think lego shoes (if they hold together) wouldn’t be as bad as stepping one one. It’s the sharp corners that really hurt, not the little knobs.

Grandson just turned 5, so we went to the store. The Lego aisle, one entire aisle, floor to above my reach, had Lego versions of famous paintings, Lego sculptures, Lego flower arrangements, Lego sets for every kids TV show , and interesting to me, Minecraft Lego sets. What the did not have was generic, use your imagination to build your own “thing,” Lego sets.

Stepping on them to avoid stepping on them, now that’s a concept.

Husband has assorted figures from “Star Wars” in Legos as part of our movie collections – which also includes several James Bond models from when he was young (and not so young).
