I have no idea what any of them mean beyond the smiley face. We left hieroglyphics behind 2000 years ago because individual letters combined into words are more versatile in expressing ourselves.
Cute little pictures in the world of text (email, text messages, forums, comments areas, etc) can be handy. But sometimes I think they may be getting out of hand and over used. Some of the “smart” phone updates include new emojis. By the hundreds. I only need four. I want the other 296 out of there. Besides, I like ;o) and :oD etc…
