This reminds me something happened a lot of years ago. My sister had a very big bag of dog kibbles in a large understair storage, communicating with the backyard. At the end of the winter she finally needed it. When she raised it from the ground, expecting for it to be heavy, it literally flew away from her hands. Country mice had been feeding on kibbles all winter, by a well hidden little hole in the back. The empty bag was still standing only because the material was thick enough. We were all amused, and definitely not angry at the little mice. :)
