Ask your pharmacist for your prescriptions to be in NON-childproof bottles.

Most pill bottles can be opened in less than a minute with a hacksaw.

    (just saying…)

I like the caps you can flip to make opening easy, but childproof ones aren’t a problem, yet.

WalMart has really good ones that have a simple lock. They can also be flipped for even easier opening.

If they ever make them idiot-proof, I’m screwed.

On pop off ones, line up the lines then use a wide flat screw driver to push off the top, for others use a pair of pliers, channel lock ones if you have them. If you’re arthritic or have weak hands do not use anything sharp to cut it open. I have used a box cutter on ones that were stuck closed but I would not recommend them even the safety ones – the blade still can cut.

The colorist missed the left limb of the grandkid holding the bottle.

I like the new bottles. The caps are reversible from child-proof to regular screw top. And the proof side is fairly easy.

I found the best way is to drill a hole in the top, put a wildcat firecracker in it, with fuse sticking out, and then, the next time I need to open it, kaboom! Added benefit, I don’t need to take the pill.
