This is beautiful. I’m trying (not very successfully) to hold back a tear……

And the wonderful thing about pets is, you don’t hear them complaining that they are missing something.

There is a ‘tripod’ living next door. It doesn’t slow him down at all.

Sometimes its not abuse, but an accident or illness.

A neighbor has a boxer mutt with a cut tail due to a cancer. It might have been possible to keep the tail with an expensive operation and expensive after care, but he couldn’t afford it.

Nice.

A friend of mine has a Chihuahua named Mr. Hops. He’s not named after an IPA.

“Tri-Pawd” dogs enjoy life bust as much as the 4 legged ones. They adjust easily. Stairs might be tougher though.

Probably the BEST, most touching comic in the world for us pooch-lovers! Happy and sad at same time! Lordy, do I love dogs!

Just so you know… this strip was inspired by a lovely man named Tom Chesser, who lives in Nova Scotia and rescues dogs with missing limbs and other parts. He calls them “broken dogs” but in reality, he puts them back together with lots of love. Annie is one of his many rescued dogs. We all thank you for what you do, Tom! Check out his FB page…

What Tom Chesser has said to me: “People don’t realize that they would give up nothing to take in one of these dogs, but would receive a world of love from them.”

Koko doesn’t seem to notice any problem just a friend to play with.
