Stores are fairly lax about dogs in my town, even the pharmacy has customers come in with their dogs.

Isn’t it a pity that so few people and things get lost in stores?

Maybe a dog could help me find where I left my car out in the huge crowded parking lot?

Me knows how you feels, doggie. In the previous century there was boards here that said “Dogs and Indians are not allowed”.

So, join a “service” and be a “service dog”, for which there are usually exceptions.

that is the problem. no where to walk your dog inside when the weather is crappy outside, other than a pet store ie Petco or Petsmart. i wish there were places but I am sure that people would not pick up after their dogs like they do not do in the parks.

One of the many, many ways in which Europe is far superior to the U.S. – for the most part, in Europe dogs are welcome in stores, bars, restaurants, etc. (Chief among the countless instances of European superiority, of course, is that European cities tend to be designed around human beings, whereas the vast majority of U.S.A.ian “cities” are designed exclusively around the automobile and are generally, as a result, soul-sucking wastelands. Sunbelt “cities” – I’m looking at you in particular.)

Whenever someone asked if they could bring their dog into our store, I told them of course! We like dogs more than people!
