A neighbor’s dog visited outside our fence the other day (to send a dmail), and for the first time, our nine pound Pomeranian used her warning bark. She has the tone and timbre of a big dog! I never expected that from her excited singing when her leash comes out. For that, she’s a soprano.

I fear this is true, if my Shih Tzu is an example. When she spots a mourning dove in front of “her” window, she yaps loudly and does her doggy dance.
