With all his magic, Wiz can’t cure old age? Then what good is magic?

    “Cocka doodle don’t.At age 68¾ I’m still fit but I look like Frankenstein’s monster.In my head I’m still 16.”

Same here, Clark. But reality strikes when I try to jump out of the bed of my pickup.

I have to say it: It should be either “fewer miles” or “less mileage”.

    ‘Fewer’ miles, Wiz. Not ‘less.’

I was going to point out the less/fewer goof but didn’t want to be turned into a frog.

He’ll have to visit Gallifrey and ask the Time Lords how they regenerate. Of course they wont tell, they wouldn’t be special anymore if everyone could do it.

    K. C. Fahel: Thank you. I sometimes think I’m the last person who knows when to use “fewer”. Nice to see I’m not.

Which is what EVERYONE says who can’t be bothered to learn anything. Words that do not have specific meaning do not communicate anything. This has nothing to do with Latin; you are just spouting a meaningless argument. Sorry, Red, those who care about language and how to use it, and who take the trouble to say what they actually mean are not living in the past. You, however, are living entirely in your own little bubble.

The Bio Geeks are getting better at growing spare parts for people. Now, the Electronic Geeks are working with 3-D printing of biological “stuff”, focusing on replacing tissue and eventually, entire organs. Hurry up, guys, I’m not getting any younger! :-)

I don’t use the term Grammar Nazi, ever, as I think it diminishes and mocks the memory of those who suffered under the Nazis. I do correctly call constant picking on grammar, (including ignoring common usage) pedantic.

Wiz is so old…when he was young, rainbows were black and white….Wiz is so old…when he was young the Dead Sea was just getting sick….Wiz is so old…he has a picture of Moses in his yearbook..and this quote…“He is alive, but only in the sense that he can’t be legally buried”. – Geoffrey Madan
