I’ll withdraw all my criticism of the new creative team if they’ve decided to permanently embrace the metric system.

A least with the new “artist”, Rodney isn’t the coward he once was.

Yes, Id is on the metric system. It is THAT advanced.(Years back I heard someone say, “90% of the world is metric, but 90% of them use it to measure how far they can chuck a spear.”).Metric is handy in the absence of scientific calculators..Fun to do calculations in your head too. Just remember your exponents.

Come to think of it – I think the new art is a hint that Id is part of the British Isles… What with the “stiff upper lips” and all…

    -True that.

Rodney obviously has his life confused with the script from Shrek.

“Metric is handy in the absence of scientific calculators.”.How so? It’s rare that I want to multiply or divide the amount of something by a factor of ten. Most often it’s by a factor of 2, 3, or 4..A dozen vs. half a dozen eggs makes practical sense. One vs. 10 vs. 100 doesn’t. Ten vs. five is a reasonable choice, but that has nothing to do with the ridiculous argument that the decimalization of the metric system is an advantage in computing amounts.
