And they forgot to show the Wiz sneezing on the fruit and picking his nose while making his selection. (Wash yer produce before you cook it or eat it, folks)
Living alone causes these kinds of issues for me frequently. Many items are packaged in quantities designed for family use. Then when I buy something specific to make a specific food, I have to figure out how to use those exact ingredients for a week straight or they’ll go bad.
This was how it was with me when I’d scavenge fruit from leftover lunches at work; I finally got in the habit of cutting them up and having a quarter for breakfast (don’t like them enough to eat all of one at one sitting).
Then there’s the recent article that says we s/b eating the whole thing (core and seeds) to get the extra pro-biotic bacterial there; sorry, no thanks…
So reminds me of my dad. He would buy all this fruit, plums, peaches, kiwi, nectarines, & let them sit out until they would spoil, throw them out & repeat.

Get ‘em while they’re fresh. Eat ‘em while they’re fresh.

I thought Wiz wanted the apple for a spell, it was a wasted. Or maybe he expects the rotten apple to alter Blanch.

Well, if you recycle (composted it and grow a new one), it’s not completely wasted. ;-P

Fruit always looks good in the grocery store, but once you get it home with the cookies and chips, it seems to lose it s appeal.

I guess it was just perfect to look at!

How often do we do that…buy something at the grocery and never use (or eat) it?

That’s why I buy fruit cups; they keep longer.

Maybe the Wiz should just go buy a good set of maracas? Dried apples, with seeds rattling around inside, don’t work that well as a substitute.

The road of good intentions is paved with rotten fruits and vegetables.
