Question: Since the king has a blunderbuss, they’ve obviously invented/discovered gun powder and projectile weapons. So why does Sir Rodney always walk around with a spear in his quiver and nothing else?
Pretty good joke today, so I suggest half of us minutely analyze the feasibility of the construction, and the other half criticize the botanical accuracy of the tree itself. (Outliers, you need no suggestions from me.)
My son-in-law owns a construction company. His deer stand is not much smaller than the king’s. Whenever I see someone tossing an office chair, I grab it. Now three of us can sit in padded comfort, swiveling to view any window.
Nobody seems to consider the danger of mixing intoxication with using deadly weapons. After a few drinks, the Fink’s chances of intentionally harming any wildlife would be pretty low. Rodney, on the other hand, probably would be safer fighting the Huns.

I thought G ‘n T’s were called “sundowners” … He needs a Breakfast Martini.

Give him two more gin and tonics. Maybe the king will become so drunk he’ll fall over the edge.

Rod, don’t you want to give Fink a little push?

I’ve been in some nice large “weather proof” tree blinds, some that were large enough we called “condos”, but the Fink has taken it to an extreme.

He’s not going to hit anything except the floor if he keeps drinking.

Wow! I would have drooled for a tree house like that when I was a kid. I had to make do with a piece of plywood and a 2×4 ladder.

Just another Trophy Hunter helping a species go extinct. He’ll drink what he wants, when he wants it.

And I’m betting his deer “stand” is looking out over his fenced in, well-stocked game farm….

Mixing drinking with hunting, good idea . He will probably shoot Rod.

In the “deleted” 4th panel, the Fink’s “deer” stand falls off the tree, due to the extreme weight.

This ‘toon made me think of the "World’s Largest Tree House" in Tennessee that recently and unfortunately, burned down.

That’s quite the tree stand! Didn’t know they came in a ‘palatial’ form!

The fink will not let go of the luxuries of castle. A tree castle is shear hard work by Sir Rodney.
