Something fishy here

Poor fishies!

Mean to the poor fish, Wiz. Wish they had teeth so they could bite you.

It appears that after a fish is foomed out of the bowl, it magically reappears.

Is it motion activated?

He is next trying to make a bigger one for all the villagers cheating on his welfare budget…

Someone posted on my neighborhood website complaining that a thief had snuck into their yard and stolen all their ornamental fish from an outdoor pond. They were very disturbed about it. Thankfully, someone explained to them that, unless you have a net over it, an outdoor pond is a heron buffet.

Were those fish naughty?

How do you make it (Foom)?

I put one of those suction-cup bird feeders on my window six feet off the ground. My cat Vivekat starting acting strangely. She began doing what I can only describe as “workouts” on the patio. One day, as I was speaking on the phone, I saw her jump up six feet and snatch a bird off the feeder. I thought it was a fluke, until it happened again. I had move it because it had become a “cat feeder”. She continued with the workouts.

Great cat! She would greet me from the roof when I came home. I would hold up an inverted cardboard box and she would ride it down like an elevator. I once had to climb 30 feet up a rope to retrieve her from a redwood tree. She let me put her in a backpack for the climb down. One of a kind.

I feel bad for the poor fish.

After I got a stainless steel bird feeder, my hunting skills have greatly improved.

Oddly, in some locales, a (non-magical) version of this might just work.
