Why are Americans so hostile towards unions?

On Mar 8 it was green here but on the hart site it was not. Today it is green on both sites.

Reminds me of Support Your Local Sheriff where our hero is starting to eat lunch and a fight erupts. He yells “Hold it!” …everyone stops, he moves out of the way… “Okay, go ahead” and the fight resumes. Still cracks me up.
