s3 is a good phone. lot of the apps are free, plus their maps work. and, if you use google’s programs which are free it is a good phone. iphone 5 is a good phone, hardware is really impressive. better version than the original iphone and it has siri which records and saves every question you ask to apple’s database. but, their maps is crap. however, next year, another version of the iphone and galaxy will debut.
and yet, some of us just don’t carry the damnable things, why would we want to be found at any hour of the day? i treasure the fact i can disappear from humanity for hours on end without anyone contacting me . . .
Samsung’s hardware is awesome, but I’d like to smack their software development team. At least with Android I can “mount -t vfat -o umask=0000 /dev/block/vold/179:(whatever) /mnt/sdcard” to put my memory card where it should have been in the first place. Can you do that on an iPhone? What? It doesn’t have an…s*snort*…doesn’t have a…BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

I say iPhone 5. (Macs are for wimps, but of the two, the Samsung is the less reliable. My kid brother’s crapped out in less than six months.)

I’m good with a phone that just calls people, but to each is it’s own.

Have a LG Cosmos, makes call period. Problem is it is a slide case and I sometimes makes calls just by moving around. Hate it and Verizon.

Love my HTC OneS – although if the iPhone 5 had been available a few weeks earlier, when my old phone died (drowned), it might have swayed me.

I had one of those. Still around here someplace. Wonder if it has “antique” value?

I like my Android. Even if it sometimes is a diva.
