She is easy to satisfy!

In my job, I try to be a leader, not a boss. Bosses make demands, give orders, but do little themselves. Leaders lead by example. They teach, encourage, and get involved if need be. I have never had a problem getting my hands dirty. I have been where my staff are. I do not always succeed, but I try. I have a great staff, because we respect each other’s efforts.

Rita likes grovelers and @ss kissers.

Something like this happened to me when I was younger. I was head down working on a problem, when someone walked by and said, “You’re talking to your self.” Without looking up I said, “Its the only way I can get an intelligent conversation.” When I looked up, it was my boss!!

Happened to a co-worker of mine many, many years ago. Was complaining about the boss & didn’t know the boss was in ear range. Needless to say, co-worker (non-union type) was no longer needed at the company.

Our HS principal was actually named ‘Rex I. Pigg’. No kidding.

What else could she do? Unhear it?

This mut be one of Rita’s milder days, as I understand such a remark is, usually,being drawn and quartered, twice!

Saved by Rita’s selective hearing. I doubt she could master broom riding. Too technical.

Switched to root beer, has she…?

I wonder what Rita would score on an ASVAB test. Be interesting to see what she’d be qualified for.
