I used to keep a copy on my nightstand, it always put me to sleep in minutes.
Remember that picture from the original Beetlejuice? The one with a Sandworm? Is that going to show up here?
the Spice must Flow!!
I have never seen it, but I have seen the remake.
I’ve always been a big reader, we have 100’s of books in our library. For the past couple of years I read mostly on my kindle. I like to be able to google stuff while I read and make comments as I go.
I have never read the book or have seen the movie or anything else “Dune,” when I hear the term “sand worm,” I think of the movie Tremors.
That’s a heavy load of reading! She might consider the Cliffs Notes or Sparks version…
At least she’s not asking how to plug it in…
Poor Rita, that book is so heavy. I admit it, I never liked “Dune”. For me Frank Herbert’s masterpiece is “The Dosadi Experiment”.
In spite of not being a fan of the book I’ve always wanted a sandworm.
It’s a masterpiece that can never be filmed and do justice to the book.
She’s dune it right!
