Captions like in Dennis the Menace and Family Circus?

There’s always thought bubbles, like Garfield.

At least on this strip Ziggy didn’t say anything.

Ziggy going to go all Bozo, eh.

I wonder if he’ll follow Doctor’s orders.

Also, we’re gonna need a stool sample.

You can have captions without Ziggy talking. You can have someone else else speak (like is often the case) – like in today’s comic.

Does this mean that we’ll see only captionless Ziggy cartoons this week?

We’ll have to wait and see.

We’re going to get a mime treatment.

Do any doctors still wear those light/mirror things on their heads anymore?

I never could hear anyway.
