My mother worked in a very expensive restaurant. One night, they had a lot of orders for spaghetti. When they ran out, the owner sent someone to the grocery store for the boxed kits of spaghetti (Kraft?). Not one customer seemed to notice.
I have to wonder, though, who orders spaghetti in an expensive restaurant?
There is a great Oktoberfest in the town of Mount Angel hear where I live. The streets are lined with booths of non-profits selling “authentic” German dishes. I looked behind one, and the trash pile was filled with empty restaurant-sized cans of sauerkraut.

At this restaurant, it is not only the music that is canned.

That Chef Boyardee stuff in a can is terrible. I wouldn’t eat that stuff. Artificial tasting.

Must be Olive Garden.

Someone had to open the can, thus the high price.

Those can’s of 50 year old Chef Boyardee. I found in the back of grandma’s cabinet should be worth a fortune today.

That’s a strange name for a chef. Does he make stuff for Chef Boy-r-dee?
