“Money can’t buy even less happiness than it did in the past,” or “Money can no longer buy happiness nowadays even if we allow it to”.

Gee, too bad Cyber Monday was yesterday!

True happiness cannot be bought. Artificial substitutes may cost more and become less and less satisfying over time (even without inflation).

Money can’t buy happiness…but it can rent a reasonable substitute.

Too bad corporate profits are at record levels.

Ziggy lies. Inflation is down!

That’s the problem with people, they think money buys happiness so they spend every dollar as fast as they earn it. In good economic times they do ok, but then they are completely hosed when bad times come because they never saved and prepared for bad times.

Lack of money can make you unhappy.

But, and that’s the big butt, money STILL buys happiness…

Amen.

Now that you mention it, I’m feeling short changed.

Our money is still buying happiness. Just not for us.
