Yeah I’ve seen some repeats here and there.

It’s the circle game. Right now old is new again. Sort of like if we can’t remember our past mistakes we are doomed to repeat them. – Sort of like, forget orange! Black is the new black again!

My cartoonist got old too, now he forgets to draw me going to work each day. :-D

Made me look.

It’s not easy coming up with a new, especially funny, idea every day. They say that ’there is nothing new under the sun," and that applies to nearly everything creative. What cartoonists most often have to do is to take something old and used and to present in a new way. My late Dad was a successful internationally syndicated cartoonist, but I can remember his saying to me, “give me an idea, Mickey.” His classic strip “Bozo,” incidentally, is published on GoComics four times a week.

Three years ago Ziggy was complaining about being so short. The bird lied.

It’s not just comics. I do the Jumble after reading the comics and sometimes I recognize them as well.

Ahhh, the good old days! When the comics in a newspaper was a whole section, not just a page or a column…
