When laughter isn’t the best medicine

It only hurts when I laugh.

I thought REAL FUNNY get well cards were supposed to keep you IN STITCHES – not put you out of the stitches!

Failure!

Reminds me of my kids’ dad…we’d just gotten married and I stopped at the credit union where they gave me the message he was at the clinic with head injuries! I bought a card on the way to cheer him up, I just remember it had the picture of a sickly looking cat on the front…when I gave it to him he had to hold his head together because the car literally had him in stitches and it made his head’s stitches hurt! I thought it a win except for the pain…

Ziggy’s chart doesn’t look good

Must have been a Ziggy humor card.

The doctor should’ve used staples.

A new meaning to the term “side splitting” for humor.

I had back surgery decades ago. I was doing fine little in the way of pain meds until I sneezed.

It wasn’t just funny. It was REAL funny.

What did the card say?

I guess that’s why so many of them have jokes seemingly designed to be deliberately lame.

A real gut buster, huh?

It was a ‘Ziggy’ card.

Poor, Ziggy. I did something like that once after abdominal surgery. My mom said something I took as funny, and I laughed, but then I cried because it hurt too much to laugh!

Who’s taking care of his critters?
