Sounds about right, complain it’s too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer.

When it’s -30C, I long for +30C. When it’s +30C, I don’t long for -30C.

There’s just no pleasing some people. ;-)

Move to Phoenix. You’ll get over that quickly.

When it’s cold, we can bundle up, even in the house. When it’s hot, well, let’s just say that the neighbors frown on public nudity.

Of course with Aunty, I try not to use the word nudity in the same sentence. I do not have enough “brain bleach” for that.

Don’t go to bed like that, could start a house fire! Should be plugged into outlets not extension cords.

I’d much rather bundle up to keep warm than sweat in shorts and a tee shirt.

Aunty, I thought you and menopause are very close friends. Why all this artificial heat?

Electric heaters use a lot of power. In real life, that power strip would catch fire if it didn’t have a built in breaker.

First of all…I know it’s a cartoon…going for a laugh and all. Really I do get the chuckle factor…but please…PLEASE…do not plug space heaters into any kind of extension cord or power strip. The fire potential is real.

Like you need an excuse to complain.

Between -4º and 6º C (high 20s to mid 40s F) with periods of rain and sun this week. Cats and doggos finding sun puddles and hearths.

I’m summer person. Not a fan of cold, due to frostbite in my younger days. I can never get warm enough in the winter. But I can get bloody cold in the summer in air conditioned spaces.

When it comes to the cold my sister says I’m fragile, I have a space heater in the bathroom, by March it goes back under the sink’s vanity.

I love winter, as long as it’s not slippery outside. I hate summer and the heat and the sweat and the bugs and the noise and the bad smells. I am already dreading winter ending and the oncoming summer heat.

Yesterday it was 17 degrees here and I went for a two-hour walk. Loved it. I had enough sense to dress in warm clothes and was completely comfortable.

“I hate the winter weather…don’t want to have to wear a sweater…I don’t remember a worse December….just watch those icicles form….Off with my overcoat, off with my gloveI hate that overcoat….”

Someone remind me to look at this in June. I complain how hot it is around then . (I live in Florida)
