I did a lot of school functions, chaperoned dances, put on displays, helped with science projects, did an example of my job with class, kids grow up much too soon!
I liked it when I was the Classroom Mom for my daughters’ respective Kindergarten classes. I didn’t have to arrange, plan, or anything like that. I just was there to be a Mom: “Can you tie my shoe?” “Looky what I did!” “Ow! I fell!” I was a listening ear, hugging arms, attentive eyes. I sometimes got to do Story Time, reading to them. For some of these kids (I’m thinking of my sweet Autumn) I was the only real mothering they got. Best thing is, my daughters didn’t mind.

Hammie does something right. By mistake. As for Zoe call the teacher and say: “Not just no but HECK NO!”

Give him, a big hug, and tell him to pay attention to class work things.

When my kids were in school parents were asked to volunteer for each event. Nobody was stuck doing it all.

That’s…a lot. The only thing I’ve ever seen class moms do is plan parties and help out in the classroom.

Hammie just became Wanda’s favorite child, for about 5 minutes, or until Hammie screws up again.
