Will Wanda defend her son and have Trent brought in for interrogation? It won’t do any good to minimize the infraction as schools today tend to either over react to every thing, i.e. Kindergartner kissing a girl and being suspended for sexual assault, or ignored, i.e. teacher gets shot by her six year old student after repeated notifications to the administration that the kid had a gun and didn’t search good enough.
What a nanny school, calling a parent for a spitball. OMG, what is the world coming to? No wonder they give kid days off for snow days when it hasn’t even snowed. A spitball deserves no more than a note home to the parent, especially if it only hit the blackboard.
Spitballs should really just be a misdemeanor. Leave the poor woman alone. Call her in for the really big stuff. Like punching the little blonde headed kid in the nose.
Give me a break, it wasn’t that terrible. I can’t even imagine how many times my parents would have been called if schools operated like that when I was in elementary school.
In my day I spent many a day after school in detention. Was called to the principals a few times and my parents never knew about it. I guess I was in junior high though. A bit different than grade school.

Seems Prickly Pear would be an appropriate name for a school Hammie would attend!
