Aw, Darryl, so you’re not much of a handyman- you have other attributes.

At least the bill was not too bad, I guess Darryl did not do that much damage!

Used to be a home improvement show that would come in and fix homeowners’ failed home improvement attempts.

Plumbers charge that much because they know that you can’t do it, and they know that it HAS to be done.

Darryl is not amused.

Wait a minute, what about the leak from the ceiling? Darryl had nothing to do with that as he was working under the sink and that appeared to be fixed.

Plumbing is the easiest thing to do with a few exceptions. For those, you want a professional. Anything with the house sewer drain or sweating copper. If you have an older house and electrical circuits are grounded to the copper pipes, it’s better to have that section worked by a plumber. Anything else, with compression and push fittings, it’s pretty decent to be DIY.

must be a lady plumber. No guy would throw Darryl under the bus like that. At least not one that ever saw the Red Green Show.

Plumbers earn every dollar because the work is difficult, dirty, and physically demanding.
