This is actually one of my pet hates.

Has anyone else noticed kids scream more than ever these days? It’s as if they stand in the garden and conduct screaming competitions.

Seems all little kids go through this phase, even little boys. I can never understand why or how they shriek so much when they play. Is what they’re playing that exciting?

Reminds me of my friends bird. At least she can put a cover over it to shut it up.

Wren’s about 18 months old, right on track for SHRIENKKKKINGGG!!! Not allowed after about 2 years old, I’d think. It’s been a looooonnnnggg time since my last shrieker.

And that’s a HAPPY shriek….

Perhaps now is the time to introduce the use of the inside voice?

I trained that action outta my kid right quick when she was very small!

Tomorrow she’s running down the sidewalk naked making the same noise. And then you hear background singing: “Well they call her the shrieeeeek”
