Where are the simulated LED flame lights ?

I’m not sure if a pile of logs counts as a fire pit.

You’re missing the mesmerizing flickers of flames and softly changing glow of embers. Not to mention the whiff of smoke in your clothes the next morning to help you relive the discussions and thoughts of the evening before. Especially those around when Baldo melted his rubber soled Sneaks. Ahhh, good times.

You can find hours long videos of a fireplace on the internet. Same thing with an outdoor fire. I will use these around Christmas time since my apartment doesn’t have a fireplace.

Don’t have an extension cord long enough to plug in?

Cute, but then you don’t need the wood or the pit. And you can’t make S’mores or even toasted marshmallows or roasted hot dogs.

Hopefully the tree was murdered with hand tools, not a chainsaw. 8>)

And your neighbors who have opened their windows and doors to allow the cool evening breeze to come in thank you. Not everyone enjoys the smoke infiltrating their house.
