Unless they’re hillbillies, philosophers on a mountain, orthe person who brings us presents once a year, now is not a good time to be meeting anyone with beard.

That is why he is alone. Thor can only think of himself. Who wants to be around him? Not me!

Who cares? If a guy wants a beard, no sweat off my back.

My 10-year-old daughter is fascinated by face-fur. When we got the news about Dan Hagarty yesterday & I showed her a picture of him, she fairly melted.

Never bothered me much, one way or the other. But I did work at a place where beards were not allowed. Potentially could interfere with the seal of air masks, which we might need in an emergency.

I think Thor’s holding up that tree. Like Harpo in that movie holding up that building.

I haven’t shaved since 1979, trim the split ends once or twice a year, everyone either ask me if I’m Santa Claus or they bring up Duck Dynasty. My wife loves my beard and has never seen my face and plan on keeping it that way.

Most men with beards miss the point by treating them as fashion accessories. The best reason to have a beard is to avoid the daily drudgery of shaving. A lot of beards look like they’re trimmed so often and so carefully that they’re more work than shaving. I last shaved in 1994, so I’ve saved hundreds of hours over the years — not to mention a fortune in razor blades.

While in grad school, out of town, I once went two weeks without shaving. I looked like Yasser Arafat. When I returned home, my then four year old ordered me to shave immediately.

@Jo Clear (aka: Grasshopper)“They sure gross me out…Nothing worse then seeing a great looking man w…”.Sometimes we grow beards to keep women from fawning over us.(In my case, it worked so well that it even worked for years AFTER I shaved.)

I was sure pretty much every adult male has a beard. Most of them shave them off daily or almost daily; but a beard, nonetheless…

If a man wears a beard, yet can’t change a tire on his car, he forfeits his man card and is to shave his beard off. Beards don’t bother me as long as the guy wearing it keeps it washed and clean with the occasional trim to keep it from looking shaggy. I’ve also learned that in washing a beard, a guy’s to use shampoo and not soap.

When hirsute men (myself included) decide to shave the foliage they suddenly turn into sad old men. I lasted two months before I grew my mustache back!

Welcome back. I think that this is the first time that Thor has a beard. I for one don’t like it.

When I worked in a food packaging factory, we had to wear hair nets. If we had a beard, we had to wear beard nets. If we were clean shaven, no beard nets. But if we were bald, still had to use a hair net. When we asked, the management always said, “The client says so.”Thanks a lot, General Mills.

“Nobody’s more impressed with _______[fill in favorite passion here]… than ________[fill in the kind of people who pursue that same passion here].”

Same goes for every passion. Don’t we all love to disparage everyone else’s passions as somehow less than our own.
