Oh the irony of it all. Stonehenge is still standing, a testament to determination and quality of purpose. And, unlike the malls, it is still functioning as designed. So many malls become wrecks and sell junk. Some even disappeared within a single generation.
Too bad Ogden Nash is dead . . we need a poem aboiut the never-ending shopping malls . . . maybe take off from “Ozymandias” (Shelly??) . . . Down here in central FL, we have the invasion of WaWas . . . did 7-11 sell out/get taken over by them??
